WELCOME TO BRIDGE HYPNOTHERAPY
You are probably reading this because there is something you would like to change. It is likely that hypnotherapy can help.
Since starting Bridge Hypnotherapy back in 2016, many of my clients have told me that the word ‘hypnotherapy’ is misleading. Although hypnosis is used as a tool during sessions to reinforce your identified best hopes; a combination of evidence-based therapies are used to help you to achieve the change you desire.
Located in Wadebridge, Cornwall, the over-arching model that is used is solution focused therapy, which is evidence based and used by front line mental health practitioners in the NHS. This is combined with other techniques to develop a unique treatment programme for you.
Solution focused therapy is future orientated and, as the name suggests, focuses on solutions. It recognises that there is no need to analyse problems of the past and the whole session is positive, relaxing and enjoyable.
Bridge Therapies also offers counselling, ear micro-suction, reflexology, reiki and massage. Please get in touch for further details.

The Solution Focused Hypnotherapy Diploma is accredited by the NCFE and qualification results in registration with Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (ASfH), The National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH) and the National Board for Modern Psychotherapists (NBfPM) which are all regulated by the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC). I am a member of the CNHC and therefore must adhere to strict guidelines set out by the Government for complimentary therapists.
WHAT IS HYPNOTHERAPY?
Hypnosis is a very normal and natural feeling and we all experience a similar state regularly in our everyday life. Have you ever driven home and not been able to remember the journey? Or perhaps done some exercise and been unaware of the time passing? If you have, then you have experienced a state of focused attention, not unlike the feeling of being hypnotised.
Hypnotherapy is a state of complete relaxation where we have access to the sub-conscious mind. Suggestions are given by the therapist which aim to adjust the way in which we think about things. A person who is in this state of focused attention cannot be made to do anything that they do not want to do.
