TESTIMONIALS

For me, my client's happiness is the greatest reward.
Below are some testimonials from a small selection of Bridge Hypnotherapy clients:
When I came to see Amy initially I admit I was sceptical. Having suffered from anxiety and depression for many years I had tried regressive therapy, CBT and antidepressants all of which had little long term impact.
However, Amy’s methods had an almost immediate positive impact. By talking through specific scenarios that had “set me off” we were able to both rationalise the stimuli and agree an action that will either prevent the stimuli reoccurring or having a detrimental impact. This is solution based therapy and widely recognised as a highly effective way to treat mental Health issues. Highly experienced, empathetic and intelligent Amy is able to dissect to the core of an issue within a few minutes whilst making you feel you are simply talking to a friend. Supporting this emotional intelligence is a shrewd practical mind that is able to develop effective solutions that you take away to use in your day to day. A normal session is split into a period of solution based therapy and then a period of hypotherapy. The hypnotherapy reinforces the practical actions and allows your mind to completely relax, leaving you refreshed and relaxed ready to rejoin the world.
Amy monitors your progress by asking you to rate your mood out of 10. I started with Amy as a 3 or 4, lacking energy and motivation with a permanent sense of anxiety. One of the dreaded first questions was “what do you enjoy?” Now I am consistently maintaining a long term 7/8. This has been transformational in my life and the renewed energy and vigour has had a positive impact at both home and work.
Thank you Amy

Some more testimonials:

I can highly recommend Bridge Hypnotherapy in Wadebridge for a friendly, professional and effective service. For years I had struggled with plane travel, canceling trips or suffering severe anxiety that would kick in weeks before the trip. I am now able to fly as a confident, relaxed passenger, no medication required, even when there was a 'technical error'! As a extra bonus I am also able to manage the work and life pressures much more calmly! Thank you, Amy

Hypnotherapy has shifted my mind set from being trapped in a negative spiral; to thinking more rationally and calm. By positively altering my perspective, Hypnotherapy has enabled me to feel more confident and break free from negative, self-destructive bad habits. I would highly recommend giving Hypnotherapy a go and Amy is fantastic at what she does and also very approachable!

I have always experienced a lack of confidence and low self-esteem and it was effecting my overall happiness and holding me back in my career. Through hypnotherapy, Amy has helped me to improve my confidence and happiness levels greatly. Hypnotherapy has also enabled me to have faith and confidence in my ability to practice my chosen profession. In addition to this, I was also struggling to sleep and my sleep pattern was very bad. Since having hypnotherapy with Amy my sleep has much improved which has helped me to cope much better on a daily basis.

I can highly recommend hypnotherapy with Amy to others and I regularly do. I cannot overstate how beneficial hypnotherapy has been for me.
All my life I have loved horses and loved riding them but inevitably had the occasional fall. This made me lose confidence and when my horse retired two years ago so did I but I still wanted to ride.

My fear of actually getting on to an unfamiliar horse became incapacitating.
A young friend of mine who had suffered a very bad fall had consulted Amy Grand at Bridge Hypnotherapy and I was most interested to see how she fared. She had become unable to bring herself to do what she loved.

After a few months I saw a photograph of her on her horse and she had written; "my happy place!" I consulted Amy and am delighted to report that I have ridden, I did not 'lose my nerve', in fact I rode five days in a row and fully intend to continue. Thank you so much Amy, I am now very happy and can enjoy my favourite hobby.
